HSDF celebrates World Health Week, 2019.
Staff of HSDF across its offices celebrated the World Health Week between the 1st and 7th of April 2019.
The occasion was marked by various outreaches to communities, health institutions and secondary schools in various states and the FCT. Some outreach activities included raising awareness on diabetes and other NCDS like high blood pressure through educational talks, free blood pressure and blood glucose readings and free consultation services with medical doctors on every team. Other give-back initiatives included blood donation to blood banks in public hospitals and educational talks and HIV testing for teachers in secondary schools. Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to HSDF, commenting on the immeasurable value and impact of the initiatives.
The week was concluded with a Novelty football match by the Abuja HSDF office.
